Privacy Policy
Privacy policies are fun! Everyone likes reading boring, long, legal documents, right? Maybe not - so we'll try our best to be as transparent and short as possible.
Before we begin, it's important to note that we've made every effort to cover every detail possible. We have the best of intentions, but we're not perfect, though. Should you find something you think we're missing or an oversight, please contact us and we'll try to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks - you rock!
Let's do this thing.
Data We Collect
In order to provide this service, we have to collect certain pieces of data about you. This includes information you share with us like your name, email, scheduling data , and your app authorizations. Besides information that is necessary, we also gather visitor and demographic information for marketing. No, we don't want to spam you or use advertisements. We use this marketing data to determine what features are doing great and which ones we might need to improve. We also proactively attempt to gather statistics when an error happens so that we might diagnose and fix the errors.
Part of this process may include setting and retrieving cookies and logging the information your browser shares with us on each page visit. Since we don't want to reinvent the wheel, we are using third-party companies to help us with this information. For example, we use Fathom Analytics to track usage and Digital Ocean data and insights to measure performance. It's all pretty normal stuff.
How We Use Our Data
We only use our data in two ways: to better your experience, and to entice new users into signing up to enjoy the same quality experience you're having. In aggregate, this data can help us make business choices that serve you better. This data also helps us develop marketing material (like landing page content) that helps others get informed of our product. We never use specific, identifiable information in these efforts, only aggregate data.
What We Share and Who We Share It With
During the normal process of business, we may share information about your visits with companies to use their analytics website tools. We share data with our hosting and service providers in order to process it. Basically, we're saying it's like when you visit a gas station: you share with them that you have a car by filling up with gas. Some things are just apparent based on the course of business.
What we do not do is sell or share your information for any financial or otherwise benefit. Scheduling content delivery is our business: we've made a promise to provide service to you and receive compensation for this, not for data harvesting.
How Do We Handle Financial Transactions?
We use Stripe as a financial transaction partner. Using their technology, we've made it so you share your credit card information directly with them and bypass us. We only receive a token that indicates that you've validated and approved a payment with them. It's a pretty good deal for us actually because we never have access to your credit card information.
Children
We do not willingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use this website.
Links to Other Websites
We do not have any control of the privacy policy for any third-party websites we may link to. Your usage of their site is governed by their privacy policy. We do our best to limit sharing any information with third party websites.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Should we need to make any changes to this policy, we will alert you through this website or via an email.
Terms of Service
I know you're having fun reading this, so I'm sorry we're done! Sometimes there are overlaps between Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents, though. If you're hanging out here, you should also be checking out our terms of service to make sure you've got the whole picture.
